Homoeopathy
Homoeopathy
is a non-invasive and effective system of medicine developed over
two hundred years ago, by Dr Samuel Hahnemann. Minute doses of substances
are used on the principle of like cures like to stimulate the bodys
own healing mechanism and bring it back into a state of balance.
A practical example of this is the onion from which the homoeopathic
remedy Allium Cepa is made. Someone peeling an onion will exhibit
various irritating symptoms, such as hot, itchy, weeping eyes and
a streaming nose. These same symptoms in a hay fever sufferer can
be treated by Allium Cepa, the homoeopathic equivalent.
In other words, the symptoms manifested by a healthy person can,
in a sick person, possibly be cured by the same substance but in
dilute, homoeopathic dosage.
